Are you curious about Salsa On 2 and eager to try it out for yourself?

Salsa on 2, also known as Mambo or New York style salsa, is a variation of salsa dancing that is characterised by dancing on the second beat of the music's rhythm, as opposed to Salsa On 1 which dance by breaking forward and back on the first beat.

Salsa on 2 is popular in many parts of the world, particularly in New York City where it originated in the 1960s. It has since spread globally and has become a prominent style in Salsa dancing communities worldwide.

This 6 week course caters to On 1 Salsa dancers seeking to transition from On 1 to On 2 Salsa.

Some prior experience is ideal – this class assumes that you have a basic understanding of Salsa On 1.

No need to bring a partner - we rotate partners in class regularly. 

Please wear casual and comfortable clothes that allow you to move around easily. The same applies for shoes – anything is fine as long as you are comfortable. 

You are welcome to register for the entire session of 6 classes or, individual classes however we do recommend trying to attend as many of the classes as possible to get the best possible experience.
