Welcome to the vibrant and exciting world of Samba!

Samba is a vibrant and energetic dance style originating from Brazil, deeply rooted in Afro-Brazilian culture. Known for its infectious rhythm, fast footwork, and joyful movements, Samba is often danced solo or in lively carnival-style parades. It embodies the spirit of celebration, combining smooth hip action with quick, rhythmic steps to the beat of traditional Brazilian music. Not to be confused with Ballroom style of Samba - this is a solo style that will transport you to the streets of Rio Carnival. 

Our Samba Level 1 class is the perfect starting point for anyone looking to take their first Samba steps.

In this course, you’ll learn everything you need to build a solid foundation in Samba, including mastering the infamous and infectious basic step. 

Samba is fun, high-energy, and vibrant – so please wear comfortable, athletic clothing and footwear – be prepared to sweat!

This is a solo dancing class – no partner required.

You can register for the full 6-week session or attend individual classes, though we recommend trying to attend as many as possible to get the best learning experience.
